Please note: We do not take provisions from any other businesses we recommend. We have fair rates and they have fair rates, we stick to our core business as they do. That is the only model of cooperation we pursue.

It is sometimes not easy here to find a taxi by chance. There are just about 40 cabs for all Santorini. We can order a taxi to pick you up when arriving. There are standard fares for all distances. Main port or Santorini airport to Oia is 30 Euro (one way, up to 4 passengers)

If you rent a car in advance that will be waiting for you as well at Santorini airport or in the main harbour on arrival. Same procedure applies to your departure, you can leave the car at the airport/harbour. We recommend the Vazeos car rental [Autoeurope], as they offer good cars at fair daily rates. 

We can be of help arranging round trips to the volcano, the hot springs and neighbouring Thirasia from Oias' Ammoudi beach. Lambros and Georgos also do private tours on request, depending somewhat on the weather. Booking is done best directly from here, when we can be sure that the next day will be "bonantsa". Like so many expressions in Santorini "bonantsa" is an Italian word denoting now "a fair day to travel."
